What commodity cargos do we specialize in trading?
We trade mineral ores, concentrates, refined metals, semi-fabricated products and fabricated products. We are physical commodity traders that take pride in providing Export Sales and Financing support to local traders and producers worldwide. Anything we don’t know regarding a particular commodity our trade partners do and we rely on them to manage the supply chain and to ensure cargos are shipped promptly.
Which regions of your world do you import/export from?
We can ship cargo to any worldwide port. Still, we prefer to source only from countries with the available services we need such as bonded warehouses and logistic services to protect the cargo’s security and ensure we ship on time. Our current destination demand for long-term supply is Europe, North America, China, and UAE markets.
How do you know that we can supply on time and maintain quality control?
HCI deals with reputable third-party logistics providers in every country we export from so we can assure our customers that their cargo will be scheduled for loading promptly on the next upcoming vessel. Every week we provide a tracking service to keep customers well informed of when their cargo will arrive at their destination.
To ensure quality control, HCI works only with the best worldwide recognized inspection agencies that customers can rely on for accurate inspection reporting. Like our customers we dislike the hassles that claim cause, therefore we want to make sure the customer is happy with the cargo volume and quality before we release the containers from the Bonded Warehouse, so we produce an Assay report on each consignment and ask the customer signs an acceptance of goods from before shipping. This brings us comfort as the seller and comfort to our customers that they know what's going to turn up
For customers, what payment guarantee do I have to give to secure my shipment?
HCI can accept a range of payment guarantees, the most common is a DLC, SBLC or a simple BG. These payment methods are often required for legal reasons in Asia but can also be used by new companies that may be unable to get credit insured. For most of the larger customers in Europe or North America, we can obtain credit insurance on your Sales Contract and therefore no bank guarantees are necessary.
For suppliers, how do you know that we can pay once you deliver?
After we have agreed on quality, volume and delivery terms with our suppliers we offer an RWA, ESCROW, DLC, SBLC or traditional BG as a payment guarantee. As long as the cargo quality and volumes match what we have agreed we will always pay promptly. We do of course realize that suppliers face difficulty transporting goods in some countries therefore we treat all our suppliers as trade partners and adaptively work with them to deal with any challenges that might arise. We are not spot traders, we are program traders and we are in it for the long term with our suppliers and do everything we can to maintain consistency in deliveries.
